The theme of the story " Percy Jackson and the Olympian The Lightning thief" is about a boy Percy Jackson who has had a tuff childhood. He has dyslexia and ADHD, but Grover has him realize that hes only "Dyslexic" because his brain is hadwired for greek, not english and his "ADHD" is really his fighting reflexis, not being able to be still. Then he finds out he is a Demi god and has to face mythological monsters the gods of mount Olympus And to top it all off, Zues lightning boltis missing and his maing suspect in percy. Then Hades, percy uncle takes his mother and trys to blackmail him with the bolt, but he doesnt have it. So Percy still travels to the underworld to try to save his mother and trys to look for the bolt and return it to Zeus. When he realizes he does have the bolt, he goes to try to return it. Thats when his problem gets bigger. Percy, Grover, and Anabeth have this suspenful adventure and they face so many conflicts with gods and humans.
